ViewAlong with being a front end developer, I really love researching and reading about different cryptocurrencies and their related projects. I enjoy the complexity and utility of the various blockchains. This project uses the CoinMarketCap api to gather a list of altcoins that match what the user is looking for. Go ahead and try it...I dare you!
View GithubA simple local weather app. It doesn't tell you the forecast, but it does tell you what the weather is wherever you are. I mean, who really looks outside anyway? This was built as part of free code camp's front end certificate. Instead of making the api call with jquery, I decided to use axios...I promise!
View GithubRandoQuotz was built as part of Free Code Camp's front end requirements. It is kept on codepen and uses a simple ajax call to the forismatic api.
ViewA simple project for an awesome company. I have done a lot of work, many job titles, for Imperial Dent Removal and still maintain this website.
ViewA website for a family friend and local chiro in upstate SC! Awesome person to work with!
ViewLove it or hate it, Star Wars is quite the saga. This project was made for funsies and uses the StarWars API and axios to grab the scrolling text at the beginning of the movies. Also shows basic stats like the number of planets and starships.
ViewWhat do you do when one of GE's super smart engineers tries to over complicate the job of the forklift driver??? Simple: the forklift driver writes some code and makes it easy again. This project came from having parts to deliver at various places in GE's Gas Turbine plant in SC. Instead of making 4 trips to get the required part to the proper machine, the machinist could simply put a request in and it would text me (the forklift driver) what they needed. From 4 trips to 1! Since this was never really meant to be used, more of a proof of concept than anything, I have since let it sit. The twilio api (free version) doesn't work anymore for this app. But it proved my concept!
